eNGO is an international flagship programme of Digital Empowerment Foundation, for the digital empowerment of grassroots NGOs. The eNGO proramme strives to empower more that 4 million NGOs and self help groups in India, South Asia and African Countries. read more……

Benefits of eNGO Network:

The eNGO Network offers range of services that are meant to enhance the capabilities and knowledge of member organizations to strengthen their overall efficiency and effectiveness. eNGO Network provides opportunity to its members to attend and participate in various workshops, conferences, discussing on a broad range of issues. They can utilize the eNGO Network as a platform to showcase their activities, share their experiences and challenges and extend their outreach with like minded NGOs, national and international agencies and volunteers.

Most importantly, the eNGO Network provides capacity-building and knowledge support to its members on using ICT and digital media tools for overall organizational development benefiting the societies in larger extent.

To accomplish these ends, the eNGO NETWORK provides services through the following media services:

1. Free & Unlimited Web & Social Media Services:

Registered grassroots NGOs/VOs/CBOs/SHGs are entitled to have free web services such as interactive and unlimited no of web-pages, independent domain name, modern designs, social media pages, email ids, blogs, online donations and many more. For more details plz download & read the brochure.

  • Cost effective registration depending on capacity of NGOs applicable annually;
  • Domain booking (example : www.yourNGO.org);
  • Web hosting (.org) with unlimited storage space
  • A fully fledged website with no restrictions on size, space and pages;
  • On demand or proactive digital content creation and aggregation;
  • Essential training in web page maintenance, content uploading, correction and design patterns;
  • Cost to cost service for any additional facility or feature like e-commerce.
  • Workshop cum capacity building program to avail a holistic ICT and Internet development;
  • Training manual and online training for self content upload and management;
  • Technical handholding support;
  • 24×7 online and email support.
  • Email IDs on their personal domain of the organization (Now it is free only for US based non profits);

2. Newsletter:

All members will receive monthly web-based newsletter providing updates and information on DEF & ENGO NETWORK activities and programmes. The newsletter provides various development resources as well as information on government policies, funding and forthcoming events such as training programmes, conferences and consultations nationally as well as internationally. All NGOs can send their Story & News for Newsletter at devendra@defindia.net to circulate within the network.

3. Research & Publications:

The eNGO Network brings out useful voluntary sector related publications on free basis to our members. Many of them are based on intensive research relevant to the voluntary sector. All are available to our eNGO members on demand.

4. Annual Mega Events/Workshops/Conferences:

All eNGO Network members are allowed to attend the Mega ICT annual events like Manthan Award South Asia & Asia Pacific, mBillionth Award South Asia, Vodafone Mobiles for good, eNGO Workshops & many more organized by Digital Empowerment Foundation. NGOs can enrich their knowledge & skills by sparing good times with attendees and get networking & support from Govt, Corporate, Funders & Innovators during the event. 5. Database Service:

The eNGO Network maintains a database on global & Indian voluntary organizations. The Network also keeps information on various aspects of the voluntary sector including sector specific NGOs, academic institutions, consultants and consultancy. Such information is communicated to our members generally through our news magazine and specifically on request from other stakeholders.

6. Partnerships & Networking:

DEF works with its eNGO Network members only in various parts of India & other countries. eNGO members can act as a regional partner for various projects of DEF and work together. For more details write to engonetwork@defindia.net

7. eNGO Client Community Services eNGO web service solution is designed to serve:

  • Grassroots organisations having community development initiatives anywhere in India at district level and downwards such as at the Tehsil, Panchyat and Village level;
  • Grassroots individual innovators, social entrepreneurs undertaking socially and economically empowering entrepreneurial activities;
  • Self Help Groups into a set of diverse community benefiting and viable activities.

8. Eligibility for eNGO Services The eligibility for enrolling under the eNGO programme applies to:

  • All those grassroots organisations having community building and development activities in diverse areas in the social sector in India and South Asia;

     ERRAGUDUR VILLAGE NOW ON ECO – FRIENDLY

    MODEL VILLAGE IN ANDHRA PRADESH

                            In 1992 started social
    voluntary organization of P.S.S. Educational Development society (NGO) and
    inaugurated a eco friendly model Erragudur village of Pamulapadu Mandal Kurnool
    District of Andhra Pradesh that was worked and Heavy blasting by Telugu Ganga Project
    work in 2006. The village lives in Erragudur Grama Panchayat and has been built
    under the take Relief and Rehabitation programme by P.S.S Educational
    development society (NGO) and Blue cross youth seva sangam Executive Secretary
    Bathula Sanjeevarayudu erragudur is located beside of Telugu ganga project
    & Pothureddy padu project of Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. The
    Housing and social infrastructure was by P.S.S Educational Development  Society and Blue Cross (NGO) thousands of
    many verities of plants planted within Erragudur village.

     

                            With the Govt support
    the rehabitation and reconstruction activities in Erragudur village Gram
    Panchayat located in the remotest parts of Nallamalla Forests has little
    external connectivity’s linkage, electricity, drinking water supply sanitation,
    special schools of ST Sugali (Banjara), internal roads and is prove to frequent
    natural disaster. This development was conceptualized, planned and implemented
    by PSS Educational Development Society and Blue Cross Youth Seva Sangam (NGO)
    as an Eco – friendly model village with aim to transform the life style of the
    effected community and narrow the gap between the privileged and under
    privileged sections of the society. PSS Educational Development society and
    Blue cross youth seva sangam (NGO) B.Sanjeevarayudu under took a holistic
    planning approach and use innovative themes and ideas while drawing up this
    village. Pothureddy padu project widening of work used heavy blasting by
    contract company. 574 houses fully damaged by heavy blasting. The NGO Team
    ensured full involvement of the affected communities by beneficiaries during
    the entire cycle of development & welfare of process. It took and provided
    facilities and amenities such as drinking water supply, sanitation, amenity
    building, cattle sheds, machaans, (raised resting plat forms). Shade net, green
    house, adequate open areas including children play areas, space for communities
    participation, besides creating disaster resistant dwelling unitis, Animal
    welfare & Development, The NGO team under B.Sanjeevarayudu ensured full
    involvement of the affected people and beneficiaries during the entire cycle of
    development process several green and eco efficience features. Were in
    corporate in planning, design and contruction.

     

                            Additionally PSS
    Educational Development Society & Blue Cross Youth Seva Sangham (NGO)
    ensured extensive usage of locally available materials, skill sets and employed
    the local work force in this project. Erragudur village most back word and
    heavy blasting effected village a year ago, now erragudur village to day has
    been completely transformed and boasts of a clean environment good ambience and
    safe living with all facilities like water supply, sanitation, greenery amenity
    buildings, lighting, Education, Health, Banking, formation of womenself help
    groups, A.P. Government all programmes implementation, linkage roads with other
    villages good implementation of MNREGS Programme Animal welfare etc., NGO
    Executive Secretary Bathula Sanjeevarayudu take special efforts and
    concentration dedicatedly done.

    Sanjeevarayudu has relentlessly worked in the field of eco development, Animal
    welfare, wild life protection, villages development programmes for last 32
    years, Mr. Sanjeevarayudu has faced many life threatening situations while
    implementing all welfare and development programmes and Govt. Programmes also.
    He has played a major role in educating people to give up the ritual of
    superstitions in Rural areas.

    WATER EDUCATION

     

     

    PSS: Educational Development Society (NGO) has water
    education, excelled in reviving water resources in Rural areas of ANDHRA
    PRADESH STATE WIDE:

     

    A.     Report Title:-      Water Education, rural water Resources now
    only Eradication of Rural poverty in India.

     

    B.     To improve the
    quality of the eco-system and meet the livelihood needs of Rural people, which
    will contribute to improve the socio- economic nutrition – health status of
    people and ecological condition of the environment.

                      In a country like India where
    population is growing at the rate of nearly 2% per annum and about 70% of its
    population is engaged in subsistence farming water shed management assumes an
    exceedingly important sole not only for the production of more food but also
    for prevention of degradation of land and mainly water in the process.
    Experiments with water shed management have so far yielded rich dividend and
    provided valuable in right to the aspects of management of our natural
    resources basic, particularly land and water. Water shed management is not a
    passing fad, it is intricately related with an extremely beneficial to the
    lives of millions of farmers throughout the world.

     

    C.    Spreading
    Technological Awareness:-

                      Water
    resources using methods, water can reservation, It is necessarily to educate,
    spreading message through conducted public meetings, Kalajathas, Rallies,
    workshops, exhibitions printed pamphlets, wall posters, showing films, etc., to
    the people about the new opportunities available water resources and create
    responsibility for the protection, preservation and responsible management of
    all the available water resources in A.P. State wide.

     

    D.    Technological
    Innovation:-

                      PSS
    Educational Development society (NGO) have identified the need for developing
    training innovative modules for Rural people engaged in their livelihood on
    natural resources, water resources and enable them to improve their livelihood
    through Agriculture and aquaculture etc., this programmes does not envisage
    trainings as an end itself, but aims to strength water shad management, Rain
    water conservation, water utility, eradication of water wastage and upgrading
    the technical skills of people on Agriculture, Aquaculture and provided them
    with equipments and financial support to set their our self employment and
    Income Generation etc.,

     

    E.     Impact on
    society:-

                      It
    is also our team of NGO’s visited within beneficiaries our activities all are
    grand successfully implemented and get good result, they become agents of peace
    and communal harmony in a place that is in constant disturbance, we feel that
    the long term objective of this venture is peace and human dignity through self
    sufficiency.

     

    F.     Environmental
    benefits:-

                            Our NGO adopted 10
    village in A.P. state wide, Now were completed from Erragudur village Eco –
    Model Village in A.P. state through fully utilization of water resources, tree
    plantation, Animal Development programmes, clear and green programmes.
    Sanitation programmes internal roads laying, etc.,

     

    G.    Target set
    & Achieved:-

                            Our NGO selected target
    of Rural areas, hilly areas, remote areas, Agency areas near by forests
    villages etc., implemented and conducted over 91924 breath water sound
    workshops benefited 4.1 million people in nationwide. Conducted 34310
    cleanliness and water utilization campaigns. Since 15 years organized national
    environmental awareness campaigns in A.P. state wide.
